What is the 1-for-1 all about?

We were born in 2015 as a free educational provider for high schools and universities, but as we grew we struggled to scale our service.

The 1-for-1 method is our system for spreading the culture of sustainability and amplifying the positive impact of the School of WRÅD. It works like this: by purchasing an S.O.W. you guarantee the distribution of free educational packages to students living in disadvantaged contexts in Italy and in the rest of the world.

We will also engage in the training of local educators in order to foster organic and autonomous development in the region concerned.

Who are the S.O.W. courses for?

The S.O.W. - SCHOOL OF WRAD Courses are aimed at all those who want to question the personal status quo and the reality that surrounds us - without limits of time or space. For those who want to find new ways to improve their impact through what they do.

Each course's description text will provide specific recommendations.

Considering SOW's purpose, why are the courses paid?

The fact that the courses are paid is the condition that allows us to continue updating, perfecting and disseminating them. At the same time, it is a way to:

- remain as independent as possible with respect to external funding;

- allow us to continue producing courses in the future;

- update as much data as needed (every 6 months);

- expand our community by involving top experts in various sectors of reference but also build new platforms where we can meet and discuss;

- allow the course to be translated into as many languages as needed.

Is a certificate issued at the end of the course?

Upon completion of the course, a certificate of participation will be issued, but hey, in all likelihood, no one will ever ask you for it!

Who checks the contents before publishing?

Before being published, the course materials follow a three-step process.

After establishing the theme to be explored and the key research questions, we select a substantial amount of information from reliable sources, the same we use to keep ourselves up to date. The content is then authored by either our internal team or by other experts with whom we frequently work; Either way, the contents are then edited by a second team of professionals to ensure not just a higher level of accuracy but also the inclusion of multiple points of view.

The contribution of our community is also essential for us! Under the chapters of all the courses that we will publish, it will be possible to leave comments that our team will read carefully and if necessary, will use to implement the published contents.

What "S.O.W." stands for?

S.O.W., as well as being the acronym for School of WRÅD, is also a reference to the concept of sowing (to sow). This is precisely the original goal of education and the initial purpose of our project. We believe education is the most effective tool to trigger the change we need. Here we are, then! Ready to create spaces for discussion, constructive disagreements and moments of study under the name of S.O.W.
